Rinsing the mouth
First you must thorougly rinse your mouth to reduce any bacteria that may be present. We use a Antibacterial, alcohol-free mouthrinse for all oral piercings.
Marking the piercing
Next the tongue is dried and the desired location is marked. Tongues vary from person to person and your piercer determine a comfortable location and and barbell long enough to accomodate for any post piercing swelling (see aftercare.)
Applying the forcepts
Once marked, the area is clamped in preperation for the piercing.
Inserting the needle The needle is then placed into position.

The bead is screwed into the barbell.
The bead is tightened
Once on the piercer tightens the barbell.
